
Again, not dead. Not just resting either… Currently busy working on a pilot project at King’s College London’s Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences / KCL Culture. I’m working with researchers there on object-based content accessibility, and with people with aphasia*, but it’s also an art project so going beyond nuts and bolts accessibility and getting into the nature of time itself, the concept of “crip time” in particular and how it clashes with capitalist/Protestant Work Ethic time, and there will be some fun stuff for people to get into as well as the serious aims behind it. Updates will be here first!
Also returning very soon to the lovely, weird Isle of Portland, and getting together a series of eco-focused micro-festivals for next year in the National Forest, among other things.
* Aphasia is a complex communication impairment which typically follows a stroke and/or brain damage to particular regions of the brain. It can affect speaking, listening, reading and writing.
