Writing

I have been writing professionally since I was nineteen years old, so a lot of things have dropped off the CV at this point! I’m the author of two published novels, the non-fiction art world memoir Career Suicide, numerous short stories (some of them collected and republished in Uncanny Valley), journalism and critique for art magazines and art blogs, critical texts for art exhibition catalogues and books, and my own popular blogs Career Suicide and Adoxoblog. I was also a founder, board member and editor of the monthly new short fiction site Pulp.Net until it ceased publication in 2009.

I no longer work in drama but I still (as of 2020) regularly write professional non-fiction, journalism, reviews, critique and texts for art, interactive and design projects. I’m also an experienced creative and copy editor of fiction, non-fiction, gallery interpretation and academic writing, and a teacher of creative writing.
