I contributed my wisdom (?) to this book by Rosalind Davis and Annabel Tilley. As a famous idiot once said (and as referred to on page 9 of the book itself!), there are known unknowns and there are unknown unknowns, and I think many artists reading this book will realise how many unknown unknowns they’ve been contending with. No book and no person has all the answers, but this one is full of solid, pragmatic and generous advice from artists who’ve actually done it and kept on doing it, in sharp contrast to many of the bogus mentors, vanity galleries or art fairs and fake gallerists who have their hand out to artists for money but have never had any success in anything except fleecing other people.
